When people ask me, ‘what do you do?’, they’re sometimes surprised to hear that I’m a funeral celebrant and are curious to know how and why I came into this work. It’s pretty simple really; I’m genuinely interested in people and I’ve have spent my professional life listening to others and helping them to make meaning out of their experience – often at some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
